Phase II of the Rollins College Strong Hall dormitory building included an important phasing component required by the demolition of the existing two-story portion of the dormitory building built in the 1930’s. The project comprised a two-story and a three-story building totaling over 17,000 square feet as well as a courtyard formed by the structures built in phase I and the two buildings that make up phase II.
The Spanish Mediterranean architectural style and the selection of building materials provide a continuity with Strong Hall phase I and ensures that the ‘new’ Strong Hall blends in seamlessly with the rest of this most picturesque and architecturally rich college campus.
