The project consists of an 82,922 square foot reconfiguration of an existing grocery store which included the redesign of the front elevation and a second story addition of 26,134 square feet. A large portion of the floor slab was removed and the roof was removed to complete the project.
The space contains private offices, large open areas of teacher’s stations, conference rooms and associated facilities, while the main program space is dedicated to three studios for ESPN. Another key ingredient is the Dream Loft. It is a ‘think tank’ for the University and Community with audio/visual equipment, rear projection screens, white walls and private access to the studios.
